I hold you in my arms and rock

To chase the monsters from your mind

I murmur calm assuring words

Be still my Love and quiet falls

“Thank You, Honey” softly formed

I answer with a tight embrace

A single tear slides down my cheek

My aching heart now rent anew

Yesterday a friend called to arrange lunch today with my Man. It was so comforting to let him go and know he’d be well looked after. Also, he asked which vehicle he should use (Hummer or BMW!!!), if the winery restaurant were Ok and would he “like to go for a hike or a walk along the lake”.

I have told you how appreciated you are and hope you realize it. It was a wonderful visit.
