One of his dear friends was in hospital. He wanted to visit him as was very upset over the situation. I called the wife and she said it was a great idea.

We had a nice visit and as we were leaving, someone asked what his cat’s name was.

He stumbled around and I whispered “Buddy”. (It sadly reminds me of Nancy Reagan whispering to her husband one time – although a much more important conversation than the family cat’s name, I’m sure!)

“Oh, yeah, Buddy”

I was in tears although my Hon didn’t see them. Difficult to believe.

We came home from shopping and he sat down at his computer and played Solitaire. I nearly fell off my chair. It was so exciting to see as he hadn’t touched his computer in months:)

Have you ever noticed that when a person sits down at their desk chair there is a”process” – watch sometime. My guy would always plant his butt and then kind of shift his upper body. That was actually what caught my eye – the old familiar pose. Dear God, how I love him and miss some of those things.

Surprised when my Hon jumped up at 6 am to set the garbage out for me. It was sweet as it’s lonely in the morn.

Plus, it was nice to have someone give me a hug and kiss goodbye as I left for work at 6:30am. I sure did hate to leave him that morning.

Didn’t ever happen again but a nice memory.

I just finished ironing my Hon’s T- shirts and shirts. Am very conscientious about his care as critical eyes are everywhere. I never want anyone to be able to say his shirt wasn’t pressed, his jeans not clean, etc. “He’s not being cared for well”. One day a person very cruelly commented to him (!) on his eyebrows – she asked if he had never seen the ad on TV about the hair trimmer. Sweetheart, if you knew his lack of ability, you would be better off worrying if he remembered to use his comb. I was so stunned I apologized!!! Until then, I had never noticed them at all. Now I make sure they are trimmed – hopefully to the satisfaction of the eyebrow detective.

Being she weighs in well over 300 pounds, suppose I could have asked if she has ever seen the ad on TV about weight loss.

My DEEPEST thanks to all of you who do know and care. My thanks to those of you who thank me for taking good care of my/your Man. To do otherwise will never happen. Because I love him.

Just all this talk about PP pics reminded me of a DL pic about 10 years ago.

I arrive at the Motor Vehicles to get the infamous pic and realize I’m wearing a navy/cream horizontal stripe top – a fav of mine. Perfect!

The gal who processed me was a pt. and she said I’ll do my best to take the pic as “high” as I legally can. She was laughing so hard could barely manage. We had to try twice b/c she got me laughing, too. Oh, a happy con.

Anyway, I should have taken a pic of the DL – it was quite humorous – at least I was smiling.
