So Brian (our chef son) phoned and is hoping to get home for holidays the end of October. Exciting news and yet I know that probably means he won’t be home for Christmas.

Dad is so excited and will be asking every day when Brian’s coming.

(This has been a difficult year as staff is quitting to work in construction. Many weeks he works 6 days as no help available.)

Just was reminded it’s officially fall – after reading Annie’s blog. Thanks, Annie!

After days of clouds and rain, we have glorious sunshine. Eye blinding sunshine. I’ll take it. Our weather can turn quickly into a giant clothed in low cloud and gloom. We have to live with that til about March. So, bring on Fall with it’s sunshine.

Plus, it’s Sunday so last day before the work week begins all over again for some. Enjoy!
