Just was reminded it’s officially fall – after reading Annie’s blog. Thanks, Annie!
After days of clouds and rain, we have glorious sunshine. Eye blinding sunshine. I’ll take it. Our weather can turn quickly into a giant clothed in low cloud and gloom. We have to live with that til about March. So, bring on Fall with it’s sunshine.
Plus, it’s Sunday so last day before the work week begins all over again for some. Enjoy!
Yes, beautiful fall, and you get the real deal. We pretend down here in Texas. But it is such a great time of the year for new beginnings. I love to go north and leaf peep when we can. Maybe Virginia this year, if we can squeeze it in with trying to get the house in the country ready for THANKSGIVING! Oh, I hope so. I’ll have to order my greenery and or get what my friend calls “road-sidia” Latin, of course, for a pair of clippers and a prayer for generous neighbors who don’t mind your taking a little snip always with you when you’re on the road! Happy Fall to you!
That would be great to celebrate TG at the country home.
How far from home is your country home?
Hope you have a happy autumn and that your husband does stabilize for a while. I do love Canadian Thanksgiving time. It is really my favourite holiday of the year.
Thanks, Ruth. I think Fall is my fav, also. Hoping for a leveling out as decline seems quite noticeable lately. Ah, well, could be worse – I still have him with me:)
And a happy fall to you. We begin to notice a little less heat in the early morning and evenings, but no changing of leaves. However, I’m leaving Saturday to spend the month of October with my son, daughter-in-law, and my little granddaughter Ella. I’ll get to enjoy the ushering in of fall in Virginia.
Beverly – fall in Virginia – beautiful colors? Give Ella a hug from all of us:)
Happy Autumn, Jean! Enjoy your sunshine.
