So if I ever mention replacing floors ever again, someone please whack me where it will do the most good. Just as the saws were screaming their loudest, our dental office called – her delicate little voice wafted away from me. I finally understood who was calling and told her I’d call back soon as I could get through all the mess to find my day timer. After a pregnant pause, I explained it was out of reach in the kitchen due to renovations.

The dining room stuff and living room stuff are mushed together in the living room. Our bedroom has a narrow pathway – heaven help us if we have to get up in the night.

My motherly instincts kicked in and I made lunch for the 2 kids (men probably 40) and took it to them. Poured two tumblers of milk and set all the stuff down. They told me they don’t “do” lunch as they get sleepy. Now, after 6 hours of work, I think the “boys” needed food. Anyway, they wolfed the sandwiches down, drank the milk and chased it all down with coffee – wouldn’t want them falling sleep over their saws now, would we?

Wonder if they will announce earlier tomorrow that they “don’t do lunch?”

The fellows are absolutely great with W and I appreciate their kindness. We sent the cat on vacation to the luxury villa – actually we should have checked in along side.

My husband never ate lunch during his work day either. I think he sometimes had clients offer him cookies or something. He stopped every morning at a Circle K and Filled a humongous contianer with Mountain Dew to give him his caffeine he needed to keep him going.

Good luck with your renovations. I need to do some of that in my house, but I lie down till the feeling passes over.

Lucky cat who gets to check into a luxury villa. You should go to, but if you did who would feed the non-eaters?
