Last night we sat in the living room admiring the dining room floor. The custom nosing hasn’t arrived yet for the steps.
“So what’s going on the steps?”
“See that piece of wood – they ordered one long enough for the steps – that way they don’t piece any together.”
Maybe two minutes later: “So what’s going on the steps?”
This went on several more times – probably repeated every 2 to 3 minutes. I finally took him to the family room for a change of scenery.
Clinically, I wonder what happens in the cells – what short circuit causes the exact repeat of the words. It never varies. I’m not being factitious to say it sounds like a broken record.
As my sister always says, anything very good, very bad or very happy “sticks” with him. I think it was a kind of “bad” in that the steps are unfinished.
I’m praying for you, Jean! I admire you, too! I will pray for patience and His Spirit to continue to invade you!
I LOVE the new picture you added to your sidebar! Where did you find it? Did you take it? Anyway… it’s beautiful!
Love,
Angie xoxo
The rainbow? I’d like to take credit but I Goo*led for one and liked the colors.

Your sister is probably right. He just couldn’t get past the steps not being finished. He JUST COULDN’T BELIEVE IT!
