“How long do cats live?”

“Oh, I don’t know, about 15 years.”

“We’ve had him 4 years? How old am I?”

“You’re 66, Hon.”

“Phew, it will be Ok.”

So we’re getting up and changing clothes – “Just grab clean shorts – they’re in the second drawer.”

With that smile I know so well he asks, “Second from the top or bottom?” then turns to me laughing. True, it has 5 drawers. It seemed so normal a joke – type I’m used to.

Kind of funny cause then he lost his train of thought and started rummaging in the other dresser.
Uh, no, he doesn’t wear this kind! It was fun researching, though.
