My sister came at 9:30am to sit while I shopped!
Bought a slimline 6.5′ tree for the family room. Tonight W & I assembled it – he loves it! I’m so glad he is still happy about decorating this year. No decorations on it yet. The 4′ tree for the master bedroom is also bare til tomorrow.
We did the mini tree in the kitchen today – just clear lights with small glass balls in deep cherry and a lighter cherry color – a sparkly gold mini tree top and a wine velvet ribbon around it’s burlap base.
The tree in the guest room upstairs is about 20″. It’s done in multi colored lights and 2″ bulbs of cream and dusty cranberry color. It will have a tree topper.
W is so willing to help and we started hauling the apple boxes up to the living room – full of decorations! This is the latest I have ever decorated. We like the stuff up early to enjoy.
I’m glad you get to share these precious moments together! You are so cute… you have so many trees! I just love it!
Enjoy!
Love,
Angie xoxo
You place will be lovely by the time you are finished. We always had a real tree at home and it never went up until about 2 weeks before Christmas. Have fun as you finish decorating!
It’s good that he is enjoying it! You have a lot of trees! I have two and would love to have two more

I like decorating the first weekend in December because it’s also a tradition at my house to pack away decorations on New Year’s Day. A sad affair for me, most of the time.
Now am I counting right, four trees? You are a regular Christmas balabusta–that’s a Yiddish word for a woman with enormous energy in household matters. A picture, perhaps, of that little mini tree? Sounds gorgeous.
We love Christmas. There is a fifth (tree, not micky), in the family rooms.Pics are coming soon as my beloved laptop is cured of what is ailing it. Overuse, perhaps?
