So, the guys were scheduled to work here today. They have a key – phoned them this morn and said I’m sick – are you sure you still want to come? “No worries.” They have keys so said let yourself in.

As it turns out, we were both awake as no sleep last night – just dozed til the bucket beckoned.

Must say they have never seen me looking so good – toque on my head, scarf around my neck and fleece PJ’s and fleece top – couldn’t get warm and yet I had a slight fever, sweats and chills.

It’s so sweet – he doesn’t remember last night – he wondered why he was on my side of the bed this morn. No kidding, I traded places as was so sick I kept the pail by my left side – if I did lie on my right I was immediately sick. What a night.

He gathered up the paper towel, water glasses, etc. turning to me asked, “Unless you want me to keep them here for you.” Hopefully not.

Picked up my beloved laptop from H* warranty, came home, commented to him that neither of us has had a cold or the ‘flu for years. Never, never say that. Half hour later it hit like a freight train – I was aching, skin sore all over, hit the bed, sick all night, still have very sore skin but not a cold – so is it ‘flu? Had our ‘flu shots.

It’s very difficult to be sick with my guy – he couldn’t find tissues or toilet paper – finally he brought me paper towels. At that point I was so sick it did the trick. I asked for water and he ran it straight from the tap – I’m a freak about the filter and letting it run but who cares at that point – toss a few more bugs into my body. Drank like crazy all night, fever, chattering til I thought my poor old teeth were in danger. Kid you not, he had to hold me up to go pee as I was so weak. Not pretty.

Anyway, that’s why no post or reading of blogs til now.
