Take what I can get and hold each moment close – today was very good. Of course, this is all relative.

Told him to grab the cutlery and he got the correct “two of everything”, set 2 glasses on the table – what’s interesting is that he knew where to find them. This hasn’t happened in a long while.

He read the paper – usually he fidgets with it scanning the front page for several minutes, sets it down and announces there’s nothing new – kind of sweet. Today he actually turned pages.

As he picked the cat up (yes, you read right) to carry him upstairs, I looked up at him and asked why he didn’t carry me upstairs instead of the cat. His old smile broke and he made a motion of locking his lips – we both cracked up.

Yeah, a good day.

Oh, happy day, indeed. I’m sure those moments will stay with you for a long time to carry you through the days that are not so easy.

I was going to say the exact same thing as Beverly; you will remember this one for a long time and keep it close when the days are not so good.

Happy for you today…..Without the good days we wouldn’t know we had the bad ones right.

It is sweet to have the good. This is so random but I remember the first day I wasn’t sick with morning sickness with my firstborn. Someone asked how I felt (after 4 mos. of feeling really lousy) and I told them I was so thankful they asked because then I could appreciate the whole day that I felt normal again. You drink of the richness of the good to sustain in the not so good. Be blessed this day. Love you, annie
