Yesterday my sister and her husband were meeting us for a late lunch – about 2:30pm
He refused to get up even after explaining it was to meet them. A First.
They finally came up to our place for coffee – he stayed in bed.
Today, he got up about noon (unusually early) but has just stayed on the bed, fully dressed, glasses on. He always watches news at 5pm, I put it on and come back minutes later and he has turned TV off – staring at ceiling. Another first – he never misses watching the news. Commented and he said he’d watch it if I wanted him to – sweet old self, Hon.
My Darling Man, you are slip sliding away from Life and me.
Mixed yogurt, all bran and sliced banana. Let it chill til the bran was absorbed.
“Want a pudding?”
“Sure.”
He would refuse it if he knew bran were a part of it – and so the nose grows.
And I like it, too. Remember that commercial?
