Everyday we go through the same routines to “clean up”.
Everyday he makes me laugh.
I soap a facecloth, hand it to him, take his eye glasses to wash. It’s become a game of sorts. He has a new funny now for the last few days – I’ll watch him and he knows it. The facecloth may be used to “dab” the soap on his nose (only) or applied as if using blush on his cheeks. I peer “sternly” over my glasses and he’s watching and waiting for me. We burst out laughing.
You have heard “the buck stops here” -
Well, the laughs stop here when it’s bath time. Told him he would now put stickers on the calendar every time he bathed. It’s a battle to get him in the tub and he swears that he just had a bath.
Today will be bath battle Monday and I know who will win – but at what cost:)
So my man dreams a lot – I hope he has some nice, sweet dreams along with the other ones.
About 7am this morn, I rolled out of bed to his words, “Do you think the bed’s bracket is broken?”
(Sure will be if I don’t soon get to the bathroom with this full bladder:)
“It’s OK, Hon, just going to the bathroom.”
“Oh, ok.” Off to sleep instantly again. Wonder if the bracket were broken ~~~

Kind of exciting – he noticed the little clock had quit. Seemed just like old times, he headed down to get new batteries. “They are on your computer desk, Hon.” He seemed OK -
After several minutes, the dreaded silence. “Can you find the batteries?”
“No, I can’t even find my computer desk.”
We have sun, glorious sunshine today. Told my man to get his shoes and coat so we can enjoy the nice weather.
“You want me to walk, don’t you?”
You’re on to me after all these years:)
