I am not a *fix it* type person – have never even used a power drill. So, the light burns out in my pantry sometime in 05 (yes, you read correctly). My man turns it the wrong way and breaks the bulb off in the socket – he then proceeds to get a screwdriver to work in this live socket. Now, even I know that is not a good idea.

So, big ol` camping lantern to the rescue. Every time I needed stuff, had to prop the lantern on a shelf and do my thing.

Last May, my brother came to visit and I guess asked him for something in the pantry – fixed fast! It`s these little things that drive me around the bend.
