I’m always humbled and surprised when I notice a blogger has added my blog name to their site.

Sorry to have been so slow on the uptake with several bloggers – I thank you.

I set his meal down and commented that it was a lovely, sunny day.

“We should go for a walk.”

I nearly fell over – eat, eat, before you change your mind or remember you don’t like to walk:)

Soccer teams were playing at “our” track so we walked by the lake – the games were over and we did 2 laps. This doesn’t seem like a miracle but after years of protest, I’m just delighted. Wonder what clicks to make him enjoy and suggest the walk, Doesn’t matter!

So, yesterday I asked if he’d go “walking” with me. In our world, his walking with me is sitting in the car while I do the track. He answered he would – off we go, he jumps out of the car and does 2 laps with me! Surprised is an understatement – we talked and talked.

When we got in the car to go home, I told him how wonderful it was to have him walk with me – much more pleasant and laps go faster. His answer, “Anytime.”

We’ll see if it continues.
