Ditto to what changes in the wind said. Your love for your man, the care and protection you have for him is so great. the one blessing is that he does not grasp when people say unkind remarks.

When you are tired things hit harder...people don't mean to be cruel they simply never think that there is more to it than what it may appear. You do a great job protecting and loving your man...

That might be the bittersweet part of this--that he thanks the driver and doesn't remember the putdown. You are right--you hurt longer and more. Bless you. Just remember if you can those comments come out of their ignorance. Your patience for him requires so much, you'd think others would be more patient for the three minutes they deal with it. He's such a good man. It's okay to be tired. Wish I had something to say that could take it all away. Just accept a virtual hug from me, if you will. Love, Annette
