It always amazes me that he counts the pills I “dish out”, uh, dispense, every day.

He will tell me I’m short one or whatever. Last week we ran out of LD aspirin, so I was short 1 pill for 2 days – now that was a trial:)

Anyway, several years ago I offered to make up his pill “wheels” as could see it was difficult for him. He readily agreed I should do it. The pharmacy offered to put the in the little plastic bubbles but for now, I declined.

We have 7 pill wheels and when it’s time for refills, it gives him something to do with me. I get him to count out 7 of each pill. I can see he likes doing it. After we have them all filled, he very methodically closes each one.

This time we spend filling the wheels is always full of good conversation, too.

We get our joys in small doses, no?

Mr. kenju decided about 2 weeks ago that I was giving him the wrong amount of pills. He was certain I was shorting him, so we sat down together and ran through the drill, opening every pill container and noting how many of each and whether they were morning and night or both. Finally, after 3 times doing that, he understood that I was indeed giving him the right pills at the right time. (I portion them out into morning and night containers for each week) I confess that I wasn’t as happy with him at that point as you were with your guy.I pride myself on being very careful with pills and I didn’t like being told I was wrong.
