So, cleaned the cat’s litter box, boiled my hands and spiffed up the back entry. Looks so nice when it’s all freshly done.
When he got up, I mentioned that the litter box is cleaned. He said he’d do it if he knew where it was kept. Feel so sorry for him.
Actually, it’s best that I do it anyway.
***Moving update: Can’t find what I want in a condo. It’s tough going from house to condo. Found one with 3 bedrooms, a basement and even a room under the garage. (They probably had heard my piano playing expertise or lack of.) Great as I want my freezers and piano to go – but there was no wall to set the side board on in the dining room – all windows. Maybe should give it away now and solve the problem. Think I’m not quite ready although would be much more convenient to be in town.
I understand how you feel about moving and giving up things. Is there no place else in a condo that you could use the sideboard? If not, give it to one of your children and you can visit it from time to time….LOL
What to do…that is often the question, isn’t it. I’ve thought of downsizing. I’ve tried to get rid of stuff and I’ve made a little headway, but there is still more.
With the real estate market the way it is in Florida right now, my decision is pretty much made for me. I won’t give my house away, so here I stay, and I do love it, having been in the same house for 31 years.
NO… don’t give up your piano! There is nothing like the gift of music to fill your soul. God will make a way! Still praying for you, Grandma Jean!
Love,
Angie xoxo
Jean, it’s great to downsize now. But, give up your piano???? Do you play often? If you enjoy it, I’m sure you could find a place for it.
Michael and I have downsized and have lived in a rancher-syle home since 2002. We love it.
I wish you a good find!
Mary
Judy, there is no other place for the SB as it’s all glass but I am giving it to Brian – will be sooner rather than later if I can’t use it.
Beverly – good plan – I don’t need to move but I ck the real estate ads weekly.
Ang & Mary, I guess I play – self taught- it’s pretty bad but I won’t give up my piano.
Hey Jean. I think you will know when the right one comes along. You have done so many things to your home, I am sure it is hard to move. I want to downsize but have similar problems…some big furniture and a piano. You don’t have to decide yet, but it might be nice not to shovel snow next winter? Love, Annette
