I’m really getting worried – I am losing him in bits and pieces.

He just asked where M&M were – I said in Vancouver.

“I guess they don’t want to come live with us? They prefer the city?”

“I think so, Hon.”

He said he’d call them tomorrow and tell them they can live with us.

Sweetheart, you cannot dial a phone – let alone knowing the numbers.

I have to tell you I am very concerned.

Slip sliding away, my Love.

I have to say I am beside myself.

We came upstairs – he asked in his “normal” voice, “Why do these cabinets looks so silvery?”
I walked over to him and stood behind him – lost.
“What do you mean, Hon?”
“They are silver.”

He was referring to the oak kitchen cabinets.

I put several lights on – “Do they look Ok now?”

“Don’t worry about it, they look silvery.”

I didn’t know what to say – lost. Does anyone have any ideas?

My heart is just singing after growling a bit – I had to get up early to open the pool gates for a guy. It’s a beautiful, sunny day – too beautiful to be growly. As I walked up the side drive, two teens were walking by the house – each with a remote control truck.

I said hi and commented how big the trucks were. They were really friendly and we chatted.
Then it hit me!
“Do you guys know a friend who doesn’t have a RCT who would like one?”

“They both kind of yelled in unison – “***”

I ran into the garage, got the (like new) truck and they went away chattering like school girls. It was so heart warming.

I had bought this a Christmas gift for my guy the year he was diagnosed – he loves anything mechanical and knew he’d be able to “run” it. He put it together and maybe used it once to show someone. Actually, he was offended and thought I was insinuating a childish thing. I felt badly and I know he did. Have been waiting for a perfect opportunity – the best thing is I know the boy who is getting it. He used to take our newspaper in when we would be off camping and he delivers a small paper now.

So from sadness to happiness in a flash for this little truck – it’s bright red so I’m sure he’ll love it.
