So, we’ve had a very nice day – well, it started at 5pm today:) He slept 17 hours. I woke him a couple times and he seemed to need to sleep. I had lots to do here so went about my day.

Tonight was very normal - as normal as a good day can be with AD. For the first time in several years, we watched a game together. I muted it but he told me to listen so we watched together. That huge in my life as it doesn’t happen anymore.

Then, this evening, we got a call from S&R who drove down to the coast today. They each talked to him – that’s so kind when people do that.

I guess it will be a midnight bedtime again being he got up late but I feel content – not rattled.

Hope everyone had a good one, too.

Sitting here reading when I hear a very indignant, “Hey, hey, hey, hey!!!” Not in a fun way but a tone one may use if being mugged, etc. Quite loud, too.

It was a voice I had never heard before. The nightmares have definitely eased over the past year but this scared me. Tiptoed to the bedroom door, softly called his name.

He smiled at me and asked if it’s time to get up. Relief. I asked him if he remembered his dream. Didn’t.
