Today my man decided he was not happy I had booked with our GP. Left him in the reception area and GP and I had a chat about this ‘n that.
He asked why the man wasn’t with me today – “oh, he’s here but a tad put out.”
Dr. went to reception, chatted a moment, my man followed along all happy.
As we left, I asked him if anyone had ever told him he is worth his weight in gold – he smiled and gave me a thumbs up. What a treasure.
Thank heavens for those who step outside the box…or the exam room…to reach out to others.
You would know because you do the same!He really is a dear.
Isn’t that wonderful. I remember being in my cardiologist’s office one day. As I left, a lady was standing at the window, crying quietly. The office staff and the doctor were standing there, listening and giving her their support. I was impressed.
Yes, I’d love to sit down and talk with you.
A good doc is a treasure, that’s for sure!
Ah yes – you’ve found one of those “treasures”. Glad your day turned out better than it started.
I just went to the doctor and had the “opposite” experience, so it is a treasure to see someone who cares; I’m giving mine one more chance–this was a first appt. but compassion is as important as head knowledge! I missed you today. Hope all is well. Love, Annette
