The only thing I asked of home care when the RN visited was to have Wayne taken for a walk sometime during the visit, no dusting, etc.

It was kind of cute listening to her recount the day and the walk. “Your roads are hilly here, hills that are easy to walk down but not easy to walk back up!”

She said they came home and Wayne dozed off in his chair while she struggled to stay awake. I loved her honesty.

Left a tray our with tea, muffins, jam, etc. She thanked me. I asked if there were anything else I could do to make her visit more comfortable. She assured me that was totally unexpected – most people don’t offer anything. I thought that was sad – after all, we want everyone happy.

It is amazing to me what offering a cold drink or a sandwich to workers in my house does for the morale and the job for that matter. It not only is courteous but beneficial. I know she will enjoy ooming to your home. Love, A

She sounds like a gem. And yes, like you, I like a person who is honest.
