I missed his being with me today but also was very grateful to be able to “zip” from store to store, heavens, from aisle to aisle.

After all the shopping was done, I had 20 minutes before I had to be home. Luckily, I had a novel in my car. I bought a coffee and sat in the shade and read. Next time I’ll set my cell phone to ring as was constantly looking at my watch. They stress the importance of being home on time.

When I arrived, she cheerily told me I was 15 minutes early. What!!! In effect I wasted 35 errand minutes. Didn’t realize her shift was 11:15 to 3:15pm – I thought she was late this morning. (I had been told 11 – 3)

Got all his Father’s Day gifts, a few groceries, a coffee, quick visit with my sister.

He does not remember her being here.

Good morning, Jean. The “About Me” picture is when I was around three, I think. I was a Lacoochee Kid then. I’m going to post about the header picture.

Yes, poor Ella hears that all the time, and so do I. “She looks just like you.” When she was first born, I sent David a photo of me when I was an imfant. The likeness is certainly there.

Sabrina is Asian (her mother) and there is nothing Asian about this baby. When I was last there, Sabrina said to me, “Mrs. Whitcomb, is there anything about Ella that looks like me?” Regretfully, I had to say no.

I’m glad your day went well. Setting your phone to go off is a good idea. Now you won’t worry so much about the next time. Have a good day with your man.

Your day sounds great. You were on my mind yesterday and I was hopeful you were able to relax and enjoy. It will get easier as time goes by. When you are a caregiver for someone, the first person you must take care of is yourself.

Glad you enjoyed *your* time but too bad in the mixup of minutes remaining.
When you only have 4 hours every minute is precious.
And that’s a clever idea about setting your cell phone.

I hadn’t thought about setting the phone to ring for an alarm when I am out. That would be a nice treat not to worry about the time. You have a lot of tricks about how to get things done. Glad you enjoyed your time out today! Love, Annette

You have to re-learn how to treat yourself. Glad the day worked out well for all.
