He dropped his arm quickly as I entered the room – the generous piece of roast beef now sitting at the feet of a drooling cat.
“Hon, you’re not to feed the cat, he’s too fat already.”

“A little piece won’t hurt him and he’s not fat – he’s got a lot of fur.” The cat nodded in agreement, then proceeded to groom himself.

Like my sister says, you can’t give the cat heck for anything he does as anything goes when I’m out of sight.

(No, this isn’t Buddy but he’ll soon look like that if the extra food doesn’t stop)

So, my next project is to wash the vinyl siding – it’s only in the entry, front of house and wraps across the garage. Last year I got it partly done and ran out of something, energy?

I checked out DIY sites and they say good old brush and pail of water is best. I have a power washer but water gets under the vinyl so brush is best — in case you’re wondering how to do yours:)

My splurge this year is to hire a guy to wash my windows – I can barely lift them and detest the job anyway.

Ordered new blinds for the 2 garage windows and I’m going to buy a power vac – sweeping of the garage floor seems gross. Being we have only one car in the garage now, I have set up a patio table and chairs on carpet on the “other” side. We can read or coffee in there well into the fall as it’s sunny.

Can’t keep up with the garden so I guess will sod it in next spring. A bit more mowing once per week is better than now.

Have been researching town homes and condos – I no like them. Our house is certainly not a palace but haven’t seen anything I’d consider. So may stay as long as we can. At least everything is new and excellent quality. Have to buy new light fixtures only b/c they are out of style.

Well, time to go, there’s work to do.
