So, our Doc gave me a Rx for him – hopefully it will reduce the nighttime kicking. Visit went well although the poor guy was 1/2 hour late with us – that never happens. He kept getting calls from MD’s – I remember so well.
He came in and sat a moment and we bemoaned the day – he is such a dear. We chatted about everything except my visit – kind of funny as we both enjoyed the time. He said he appreciated my never being upset.
Anyway, day is done and I’m ready for bed by 9:30pm!

Still have to set up for the home care aide tomorrow and make sure the house is spiffed up:)

***By the way, I hope no one thinks I just “medicate him” – I don’t, but he wasn’t getting a restful sleep and I wasn’t. Maybe this is a phase which will pass like the talking in his sleep – that has eased so much as have the nightmares.

We stayed at Shirl’s last night in order to have her at the physio early this morn. Got up, grabbed a coffee and was delighted to see the baby walnuts greeting me thru the sunshine. This tree fairly covers their living room window for summer, which is good, as their house faces south.
Clusters of walnuts are forming – the tree is always loaded by fall.

Home again, Wayne is sleeping. She’ll call about 11:15 for pick up. We’re having lunch (on her!) afterwards, then home to her house to await our 2:30pm appt. with our MD. I haven’t broken that news to him, yet.

Good news in that I got a call yesterday and we are set up to attend a support group Friday mornings 9:30am til 2:30pm – I’m staying the first few times but they kind of thought it would be nice to let me go home and rest or whatever. It’s only 10 minutes from our house so that would be very nice.

We cannot complain our health services – ever.
