Being I would be weeding for quite a while, I asked him to bring a lawn chair and visit. He was not interested in that venture.

After we got back in the house, I commented that it’s the 19th, you know what that means? He said, “Yup, January and more snow to shovel.”

I was referring to the longest day of the year coming up – we had just been talking about it.
