Anyway, I cut lawns today and found it quite enjoyable. He wanted to help so I went to get gloves for him, came back and he’s gone! (From the front yard)
Instead of thinking, I freaked and ran next door for help. They checked their yard and I ran thru ours, deciding maybe it’s time to call for help. Ran into the house to phone and he coughed!
There, lying on the bed, was my man. Didn’t know whether to hug him or scream. So I hugged him – then ran out to tell my neighbors I foolishly hadn’t even thought to check the house first. He told me he was too hot so came inside. Good thinking, Hon.
Lesson learned. But when it happens, you are not thinking of anything except that “he’s gone.”
Great minds think alike, I too would freak first, think later. Glad all turned out well. What a lot of perils on your road, and every day a new day. Thanks, always, for sharing the journey.
That must have been frightening. Glad all turned out okay.
How scary. Glad everything turned out o.k.
The fright response certainly makes us jump to conclusions. Thank goodness your first thought turned out to be wrong.
Hi JeanMac
Yikes! I would have freaked too.
Happy Happy 4th! Hope you had a safe, happy, love filled, memory making day!
Hugs!
Kat
What a relief to know he was inside. I would have gone inside too, what with the heat and all!
Hey, welcome, Kat! I love your blog and so happy to hear good results!!!
Oh, good news but not before a fright! That would have been my first thought too, to enlist help. Relieved for you! Love, Annette
Your heart must have been pounding. What a fright!
I imagine I would have panicked just the same as you.
Glad to hear everything turned out fine.
Bear((( )))
know the feeling, my dad has done the same thing and i panicked; ran around the house and found him in the side yard
