His care aide today was so young looking. I chuckled when she said good bye, “It was really cool to hang out with you today, Wayne.” Maybe her supervisors would frown but whatever works is fine with me.

She was really slender and asked if I knew that not matter which way she chose for a walk route there were hills! “He (Wayne) just did them like crazy, I was huffing and puffing.”

Anyway, she took French immersion in school thru Gr.X – was really impressed Wayne was born in Quebec. Thought he’d be fluent – yeah, right! They got a good laugh over that.

Then she saw his (birthday gift) Corvette book – couldn’t believe he raced. It was such fun to hear her youthful laughter and vibrancy. I think if he still had it, she would have been game to take it for a spin.

I always set out mugs from Nova Scotia for them for tea. That gave her a lot of mileage to chat.

Anyway, I think she wore him out as he hit the bed as soon as she left at 2:45 and is still sleeping:) Bless your dear heart, care aide!
