I think we must be Herman’s relatives, that doesn’t seem to be something to brag about!

Anyway, last night we were looking at Nova Scotia pictures from ’04. It brought back fun memories of one trip to Cape Breton – we spent 2 nights there. The first evening, we pull up to the Keltic Lodge thinking, “this loooks nice.”

Well, I guess on CB, in September in 2004, one needed evening dress to be welcomed. We are more likely to pack extra hiking boots or runners! On holidays, evening dress? I don’t think so.
But, it was for the best as we drove north a bit and found delightful cabins, right on the ocean. Wayne & I sat up past midnight listening to the water.

I checked their page last week and they say something to the effect “casually dressy” now. Maybe they lost enough clientele over the years to warrant a change.

Happy memories, nevertheless.
