I am so grateful this morning – Wayne has been suggesting we go for walks. Maybe something comes to him as his care aides take him every Wednesday – doesn’t matter why.

Yesterday, he said we should go – Yikes, company coming for dinner and I’m not ready yet. Worked out – dinner was just a bit(e) late.

Anyway, we always meet this retired RCMP member who walks his little dog. It’s a white, tiny SPCA special and so friendly and loving. I’m sure that Buddy, our rotund cat, is as big and certainly weighs as much.

Come winter, they have actual boots he wears as froze his feet once. They are just too cute for words. His master fashioned moccasins for him to wear if camping, etc. I’ll keep my camera handy and ask if I can take a picture this winter.

I love it when people take care of “their people” and their pets. (We chuckled – wondering if he gets flack from member friends having this wee little doggie instead of a Shepherd, etc.)
