I know, broken record happening in our house – slept from 5:30am til 8:30am – Mama Bear is not impressed with that. Starting to feel sorry for the perennial drunks out there if this is what it’s like.

We had a lovely day, sunshine, laughs and a nice walk – but, mercy, I feel stoned from lack of sleep. Lack of food, too, as can’t get it down – normally, I’d be delighted – not today. On our walk I was pumped and zipped up a tough hill – neighbor #1 whispers, “Crazy lady looks stoned again and I think she’s losing weight.” Neighbor #2 “Naw, it’s the look of no sleep.” Bless you, as crazy lady completes her lap, man in tow. Did I mention we live in a very hilly neighborhood:)

A friend called around 4pm and offered to sit here so I could go to bed. I declined, declined! Actually, it sounds backwards but I was too tired to think and I looked like a wreck. Later I was telling my sister and she kind of said,”Like what’s with that, you’re not thinking straight – an offer to nap??? and you refused?”

So I emailed and said, “the next time, just come over, I will put a bag over my head and you may sit while I sleep.” Anyway, we are off to Dreamland shortly with a little help from my friend, Charlie Chemical – for one of us.
