So, after my Sunday post, I’ve been thinking about Heaven. That was my reference to his being whole again.

Wonder what the case will be, I’ll want to show him this blog. He’ll be glad I did it – but how will I show him? Will God provide wireless, will God allow my laptop? Will God make him whole and then call me, “Psst, Jean, I have a surprise for you! Come here.” and I’ll wait in anticipation, then my man will come smiling around a corner, whole again – just like the good old days?

“Excuse me, God, I have to spend some time alone with my man. He had loving friends called bloggers, although he didn’t realize it while back on Earth. I want him to know what he went thru and how he always remained strong, kind and mellow. You know, God, we never did blame you for it – or think You “gave” it to him. Much better us than a couple who wouldn’t love as we did. But, it was tough. Just a suggestion, but maybe intervene for someone else following, to ease their burden, Ok?
Oh, and God, remember Buddy? Wayne has to be in a pet friendly section of Heaven. Not sure if I ever thanked You for allowing us to find Buddy – they need to be together now.”

I turned to go, then remembered, “God, could you give our family a special gift of love and peace today? They’ve cried, helped and mourned with us on the journey.”

God rolls his eyes, then turns, muttering to Himself, “Does she ever stop?”

He asks, “Do you folks need anything else?”

“No thanks, God, I had them pack my laptop with me. No need for jewelry but I did need my computer. Knew I’d be seeing him again and we would want to go over the posts. You do have wireless? Great! You know, he will love to see all the pictures I saved, also. Remember how I used to tell him the color of his eyes was so beautiful – and after we’re done, I’ll just do a quick post to let our blogger friends know that we’re Ok.”

“Hon, did you hear God muttering again, He must be tired today – - “

Is that how it will be?

You’ve made me cry, Jean. This is so poignant. I hope that you will be able to show him the blog in Heaven. Somehow I don’t think you’ll need the laptop….LOL

Oh, Jean, that’s perfect. I’m sitting here boo-hooing too. It’s amazing how one’s thoughts turn more to heaven when a loved one is there. I was talking to a good friend the other day, and we were talking about goings-on with our families, and we both had the same thought, “Do they look down and see us? Do they see what’s going on with our daily lives?”

That is a wonderful verse, “face to face.” There is a song about heaven and the person going there wants to see loved ones who’ve gone before, but he says he wants most of all to see Jesus, the one who died for all.

What a wonderful hope we have ahead of us, we’ll know the reason’s why, or maybe we won’t need to ask that question any more.

This is just the best post ever, Jean.

Yes, I do believe that Heaven must be wireless….and that blogging is as important there as it is here on earth.

    Oh, my…what a beautiful post!

I think both of you will be so busy, meeting everyone you knew on Earth, all your friends, both old and new, your parents, your faimily,,,, and just looking at the incredible view, you won’t get around to the blog until a thousand years have past. : )
We read in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them who love him…

I do love that scripture verse. There are so many things here we do not understand in our limited view of time and eternity. Wonderful post!

Oh Jean, I hear ya. I wondered what you mean in that last post about him being whole once again. I thought you meant when he has some lucid moments. Now I know and I understand.

My hubby also doesn’t know about my blogging – for obvious reasons. My blog is about caring for him. But I hope one day – that he will know and feel all the love, support and caring from our fellow bloggers.
    God bless you two.
    Hugs and more hugs.

Jean–very very sweet. I must admit, I hadn’t thought about whether or not heaven is wireless. But, hey, if most good hotels are, I would imagine heaven would have to be, no?
Just needed the levity after the sweet somberness of your post.

Buried with her laptop, eh? That’s a good one, made me smile. Blogging in heaven, that’s a good image. And Wayne sharing the fun.
