Our dealing with Alzheimer’s goes down another step on the ladder today. Somehow it’s not so bad when one hears other news.
A dear man, whose friendship and love has spanned 40 plus years, just learned his cancer has metastasized to bone. Words washed away in my puddle of tears when I was told, no phone call today, dear Friend.
Please accept my email as the love and hugs and prayers sent to you from both of us.
God, forgive me for whining about lack of sleep – please comfort R instead.
It’s terribly sad when we receive this kind of news. I hold your dear friend in my thoughts and prayers.
And yes, you can still bemoan the lack of sleep. But I understand where you’re coming from. When you look around there are always others whose problems are worse. And others whose problems are not so bad.
Hugs dear friend.
Devastating news. Prayers and love to you, my friend. Love, Annette
I’m sad for both your friend and you, Jean. I don’t think God will be upset with you for mentioning your lack of sleep. You never whine, although you have a perfect right to.
I think we all feel like we are whining when we hear of sad news of others. But, you have troubles too, and you deserve to have healing sleep, and you wish your man did not have to have this dreaded illness. I think, personally, that you are an angel yourself.
Sorry about your friend and don’t be so hard on yourself….we all have had this experience; no matter what the situation…someone always has it worse but it doesn’t make it easier to deal with.
So sorry to hear the bad news about your friend. It is so hard to see people we care about in trouble. But don’t forget to take care of yourself, too!
Praying for and loving you from a distance only made by miles. Take care of yourself. love, Kathy
