Came into the house from the garage, peaked around the corner to say, “Hi, Hon.” No Hon.
The care aide said he ate his meal and sat up for 30 minutes, then quietly slipped off to bed.
This is a first. Went into the bedroom and talked to him, he was half asleep. Got him under the covers and tucked him in.
I have a dreadful feeling of loss and foreboding. Kind of feel beside myself. Even the cat is all stressed and walks down the hall, looks in the bedroom, comes back out.
Glad we have company coming this weekend.
(In all this mess, I wish Canadians a Happy Thanksgiving.)
I’m glad that you have company coming, too. It sounds like you need to be surrounded by loved ones right now. Take care of yourself!
Jean, I wish I had something to say to relieve your anxiety. That is such an awful feeling. I’m hoping that W just had an off day, and it’s not necessarily a new phase.
I’m glad you’re having company–I think that having people around you who understand and love you really helps.
Praying for you and W.
Love, Laura
Happy Thanksgiving to you. Hope you have a nice weekend…I know my mother wanted to go to bed. She later started pacing, from her chair to the door. That really upset me…I hope he doesn’t do that…
((( JeanMac and W))))
Hopefully you will have a good Thanksgiving.
You both are at the TOP of my prayer list.
Please remember If you need to talk I am just an e-mail away.

Thanks,DG. Appreciate your checking in and your words.
Laura, it will be a good weekend.Thanks.
Beverly, did the pacing start after the “bed” ?
Aw, thanks, Bear.
Judy, tomorrow will be so busy that I won’t have time to think, that’s a good thing!
Happy Thanksgiving, my Canadian friend.
Happy Thanksgiving. Know that you will enjoy your time with your friends. I pray that both of you will have a great time and he will enjoy it too. Blessings on both of you.
Thanksgiving takes on a whole new dimension I suppose. I bet you are cooking and making delicious dishes that make the house smell wonderful. Hope you have a blessed day. Love, Annette
