(Carole’s email made me forget my troubles for a moment – you’re a nut, Carole, but I love you.)

Anyway, I have to see my Doc. For quite awhile I have been nauseous and now have elevated BP – 160ish. Tonight we were invited to enjoy turkey dinner again at S&R’s – ate but had to leave, like right after dessert – my stomach was flopping. Just like morning sickness. Actually feared I’d not make it home if I didn’t blow out of there “right now”. This has been going on for several months.

So, will keep in touch & let you know what he suggests. I think I know the reason why and there is no short term solution.

Oh Jean–take care of the elevated BP. Nothing to fool around with, but–then–you know that.
Hope your doc helps & you feel better.

I’m hoping and praying everything turns out okay. My husband takes pills for high blood pressure and they work really well, so get some soon.

I have elevated BP sometimes due to stress. I can’t imagine why you’d be stressed (JK my friend–of all the people I know, you’re entitled to be.) Actually, I have a hard time believing I am stressed. Hopefully, though, that is why and you can take care of it easily. Take good care of yourself. Love, Annette

I have high blood pressure..think it’s mainly genetic..but the meds do keep it controlled. My doc told me that sometimes it’s harder to get womens’s down…I take three meds…but it stays pretty low, right on target…most of the time. I love it when I go to the doc and it’s low. You are under so much..no wonder your’s would be high. Praying that the doc will give you just the right meds.

Now listen to me Jean and all my dear friends, Heart Attacks are the NUMBER ONE killer of women. Need I repeat myself? You don’t hear a lot about women’s heart attacks because few women survive the first one so there aren’t many of us out there to campaign for women’s heart health. Jean, I don’t want to frighten you, but your symptoms are much like the ones I suffered for months before my MI (mycardial infarction). My doctor searched for everything except heart disease. Stress is a major cause as well as other things. Push your doctor for heart testing. I’m serious, push the doctor. Women are finally starting to insist on thorough checkups and EKG’s, etc. and are being treated before it’s too late. If I had not been in the right place at the right time and received help within the first six minutes, I would not be here today. As an added footnote, the day before my heart attack I had a complete physical and was pronounced good as gold.

Sounds like the way I felt just before “panic” set in. Nausea, palaptions, feeling I had to “get out of there” where-ever “there” was.
Glad you are taking care of yourself. Hope your dr can help you…..pronto!
You are important. Your needs are important too.
    God bless you.

    Dear Jean,
The amazing human body has to find ways to combat our daily stresses and anxieties….and it sounds like yours is letting you know right now with the blood pressure rising and the stomach distress.

Please take care of yourself, too, as you selflessly look after and love that dear husband of yours.

You need to stay strong for him as well as for YOU.

    Sending hugs,
    Grammie
