You bloggers are the absolute best! Thank you for your comments. I take strength and comfort from them.
I was so impressed tonight – we were invited for dinner at our neighbor’s. I intended to call to say please seat us either beside one another or one on the end of the table and one at the side. Well, I got home too late to call and guess what? We are seated side by side.
Bless your hearts. It’s the small things like this that take away the stress. We had a great time, they are mid 30’s, we’re, uh, somewhere over 50. Ok! Over 60:)
Anyway, my man had such a good time recounting stories of racing his Vette and smoking his chair. Yes, he smoked a chair. Anyway – - – thanks again – I hope that someday, when I can travel, I will meet you all in person. What a thing to look forward to!
Jean, I am so glad that you and W had a lovely dinner with your wonderful neighbors! I knew that you would.
:)
And, what exactly is “smoking a chair?”
:)
Love, Laura
It is good to know that you are getting out and having meals with others as much as you are. I should think it gives you a some stress relief and a good break in the routines. I am happy to know that you had a good time, Jean.
I’m so thankful dinner was good and worked out. It’s the details that can bog us down. You are dear to me. I want you to know you are in my prayers. Love, Annette
I am glad too, that your sweet neighbors invited you and put you side by side. What a blessing. I have even more appreciation of what you are going through after visiting my mother in law yesterday and two short conversations that went no where because she could not follow the simple things that I said. You are one strong woman and one woman who really loves her man. You may rest assured you are in my prayers. Blessings on your day and your week end.
I’m so glad that you had a good time at dinner with your neighbors – you certainly deserve it! Glad W had a good time, too. (I’m also curious how one goes about smoking a chair…)
So glad for the good time you had…hope there will be many more:) It’s the simply things that truly make it good:)
Sounds like your dinner couldn’t have come at a better time.
Thank goodness for thoughtful caring neighbors.
