Attended the funeral on my own. As I entered the church, was directed to the guest book.
Signed both our names. (He can’t anymore so it seemed perfectly natural to me.)
Funny how Life works. The family appreciated it – they thought I did it on purpose. It was comforting to them as they said they knew he was there in spirit.

You know, anytime I have to go to a funeral without mr. kenju, I always sign his name too. They’d all say the same, I’m sure (that he was there in spirit).
Well of course you had to sign his name also.

Funerals are hard to go by yourself. I know he was with you in spirit. Funerals are hard to go to period. Hope you are taking care of yourself. Do you exercise or do anything in particular to relieve stress? I hope you make some time for you to take care. Love, Annette
