We haven’t played CD’s for several years, I think the music bothers him. Years ago, we’d put a stack of favorites on and waltz our night away. I’ve missed it.

Tonight, I put Alan Jackson’s “Greatest Hits Collection”. He seemed to enjoy it. The last song, “I’d Love You All Over Again” – the words just cracked me up and I ended up holding him and crying. He sat there, passively. Normally he’d stand up, hold me. Tonight nothing. Absolutely nothing.

After I gathered my composure, I put Elvis on. He sat smiling and tapping his fingers to the music – -

The CD had 30 songs, at #25 he turned to me and said,”That’s the king.” I told him the all that music was Elvis. “I guess I wasn’t paying attention.”

A guy chopped the last of our firewood – told him I’d stack it as wanted him to clear the garden, etc. and he’s pricey, fair but pricey.

Woke up this morn unable to see the mountains – we’re getting a (^%$*#) snowfall – why don’t I go with my gut feelings? Yesterday, after home care, I debated stacking it but was tired.

Having company this weekend so look forward to that. Doc brought out his magic pen, after I went down on bended knee. Actually, he readily agreed, which was nice. Says to take “one per day” – I guess they mean one tablet, not one bottle – some days feel like the whole bottle is called for!

Dear DIL called yesterday and no tears from me – I hadn’t started the meds either – I think it helped to clutch the bottle, though.

Have a great day everyone – off to look for a toque and parka and gloves – bless your heart, dear weather man.
