Sounds similar to our story. Around about 2000, we knew something was wrong. Hubby was out of energy. And was losing interest in life. Weird.
Was diagnosed in 2002. This is not a fun journey.
Sending you cyberhugs.

From my only point my reference...which is my MIL...she was doing quirky things twelve years ago..took about six years or so before it got to the point it was diagnosed. She is eighty four now. Looking back on one incident..we too say OH. So, sorry the anniversary is this time of year...makes it a little harder if that is possible. Praying for you.

Probably for several years before--that's what I gleaned when I read like crazy with my MIL. When we finally had her tested, and got the confirmed diagnosis of AD, we could look back on weird quirky things that had been happening for several years, and say--OH.

I wish I knew the answer. I will ask my neighbor's daughter. Her mother started showing signs of it in her late 40's, but I don't know how long they saw changes before they had her tested.
