He’s pacing every day now – that’s something new. In the end, it always turns out that he wants to go walking. I’m fine with that as I like the fresh air opposed to the tread mill. The concern is he will get out on me if I am bathing or downstairs and can’t hear.
In many ways he seems “so good”. It was like old times this morn. I “uncrinkled” my arms and legs before leaping out of bed. He must have been watching and asked, “Are you Ok, Hon?” Just like old times. We both got up and he couldn’t find the kitchen.
Random thoughts as I watch him today – - -
Tough to watch him through the ups and downs. Hope there are more “ups”!
Hugs
There’s nothing like walking in the fresh air.
Don’t you love “old times?” You made me think of that Goldie Hawn movie, “Seems Like Old Times.” I love the chemistry between her and Chevy Chase. It’s one of my favorites.
Enjoy the good days…and I hope they’re all good!
Have you got any more info on the gps idea? Think that would bring some relief to your worry. The pacing would make me crazy…glad you can find a way to ease it and it is something you don’t mind doing.
I wish you and I were sitting on a beach somewhere relaxing while sipping on a cup of coffee. I’m still praying for you Jean. You are on my mind more than you know!
Love,
Angie xoxo
You certainly have valid fears. The brief moments of awareness that seem like old times are little gifts I guess, fleeting as they are. Buddy is serving a purpose right now.
You’re doing the best you can in an impossible situation. You aren’t alone through this. We care.
