Sitting here with a type of writers block – I don’t know what to say. It’s the new year and as he came down the hall today, I hugged him and told him it was January 1st and New Year’s Day. He was surprised – no surprise there:)

I am grateful for the extended years we have enjoyed after being told in Dec. 2003 that I’d have him home for 2 more years – every day, month and year is an added bonus to the projection. My boss and I were in the elevator (that day) and I told him about the 2 year thing. He was thunderstruck – as was I.

This day I thank all readers who offer words of encouragement, suggestions or a blogger’s hug. It’s been such a wonderful community of support. I wish all of you only the best in 09 – be sure to hug your man or lady tight – everyday. Love Jean
