Brian just called – he’s coming to visit. (In a few weeks) Dad will be so happy. I will be so happy. Will write more later when details are confirmed.

Sorted thru his jackets and coats this afternoon. What a treasure chest of wonderful memories. Since he retired, he rarely wears a topcoat or trench coat.

I found a great charcoal colored wool coat – a bit big but I can have it altered – and I like clothes like that anyway. Once it’s shortened a bit and sleeves adjusted, I’ll have a great memory to wear.

There is outerwear galore! No wonder our closets bulge. Chef is coming for the last week of January – maybe he’d like some of Dad’s stuff. Before I get rid of any I will ask those close to me.

There are 2 trench coats – a cream and a navy one. I can’t alter them – look like a weird spy agent – just too out of proportion. Ski jackets, fleece, rain jackets – it’s all there. I remember you in each one, Hon.
