I never know where I’ve hung my coat, back entry, front closet, chair – - -

Anyway, this morn, we were getting dressed to take Brian to the airport – I offered to help Wayne with his coat but he assured me he had his coat on.

I ran around grabbing purse, keys and coat – where’s my coat? Two men are waiting for me (in the car) and I have no idea. Finally, I put on a fleece and jumped in the car – bumped into my nice winter coat on my dear man. (I have to say mine is black and his is dark brown so – - -)

It was so funny for so many reasons and heart rendering also. The sleeves were short, the buttons couldn’t be done up and he basically looked stuffed in it – cause he was.

Think the funniest part was he sat there happy and oblivious – remember when your child was “just so close” to being too large for a jacket or snowsuit? Close your eyes and picture my dear.

We got to the airport drop off zone, got out and hugged Brian goodbye – wonder if he noticed Dad’s coat?

I guess the good thing about all this is that he is oblivious. I know it doesn’t help you, but…

It is a bit heart rending, but I’m glad that you could see humor in it, too. If only you had noticed sooner, you could have just worn his coat to the airport!

It’s kind of sweet. That could never happen here, as mr. kenju is much larger than I am.
