Thank you for your kind comments and observations. His telling me that, shook me up only because I had just read about entering this stage of the disease (on Mayo).
To bed, still glancing at the clock at 3:40am til exhaustion swept me away for some peace.
It kind of reminded me of A Jackson’s song, “I’d Do It All Over Again.”
We have danced to that song many a night so this was exceptionally touching for that reason also.
But mostly, for where we are at in the journey.
I passed your Blog on to a friend of mine – who has a dear friend just starting out on her ‘own’ journey through all of this.
Oh, Chatty, what a journey it is. Thanks for faithfully reading. No need to ever worry about commenting. I hope the blog helps and doesn’t dismay her.
I am Chatty Crone’s friend and my dear friend is taking this journey hard. She knows something is very wrong. She is so sweet and kind. Her husband is afraid. I try to lift her up… Her blog helps so very much. Thank you.
Love sent to all involved, Anonymous. Thanks for checking in.
I’m going to listen to A Jackson’s song on You Tube in a minute.
You should be writing a book, my dear.
You know they say that if we all put our troubles in a pile we would pick up the ones we were dealt with at the end of the day…Maybe that is because some people do a better job of taking lemons and making lemonade rather than just becoming sour…think her name is Jeanmac.
Jean, your blog is tremendously helpful to me. You are loving and kind in your descriptions, and yet absolutely honest. Thank you for taking the time to write and post your thoughts and observations, even when they are painful.
Love, Laura
That Alan Jackson song is one of my favorites. It applies to so much of my life. ((hugs))
I love that song too. (hugs)
Each day you give is precious.
Thank you again for sharing your journey with the one you love.
What sweet words spoken by both.
Nancy M said it best. Hugs to you both and thank you for sharing your journey.
