Snow job, fudge the truth, stretch the truth, white lies – I use them all to get done what has to be done.

Today, we have appointment with Family Clinic for blood/urinalysis orders. Our (precious) MD is on holiday so His Nibs will see a locum, to go into the op, sit there and let her check his BP and write the orders.

I’m hoping this will all pan out Ok.

Slipped this morn and said we have to get up and at it for the appointment.

“Appointment, what appointment??? Not for me. Not me.” Sigh – - – (Pls cross your fingers:)

He’ll make it. Things will all work out. Sometimes we have to do and say what we have to do to get things done. You couldn’t be doing a better job.

Scarlet is right. And also, it sounds as if he is still so verbal that perhaps you can just re-label, not even have to fudge. If so–
It’s not an appointment. He and you have an errand.
And when you get there, the locum may “need his help.”

The prayers and good vibes helped – touch and go when she called him in but it’s always Ok once we’re in the op.
She did ask him to remove his long sleeved shirt for BP reading. “I didn’t know I’d have to strip,” but he was laughing and so was she.Phew!
