So, today I looked out the window and who is strolling down our drive but Wayne. (Note: bells on door in the daytime, also.)
Called to him,”Do you mind of I go walking with you?”
“No problem.” (Wipes brow)
Well, actually, there is a problem, my dear Man, but whatever. I caught you this time. So, my solution for the moment, is to hide his runners and hope he would ask me where they are. I don’t think he’d go out in his slippers.
Oh my goodness. That must have been frightening. Good idea about the sneakers. I really like your new look here. You’ll have to tell me how you like it once you’re used to the changes. It probably has a lot more capacity to do things than Blogger did. Thinking of you today. I’ll change your URL on my home page so I won’t lose you! Love, A
You have to always be on your toes, dont’cha?
Speaking of toes, I sure hope he doesn’t think of taking walks in his bare feet or slippers, but as the weather warms up, you never know.
Thank God for those bells!
Maybe an inside door safety latch is in order…….or a magnetic door alarm, which would be louder than the bells since bells might not jingle if the door is opened slowly.
It’s obvious you are constantly having to be on guard and anticipate his every move. I don’t know how you do it. You are an amazing woman. HUGS

We use this lock on the inside of one of our office doors. It works great and it’s very cheap.

Well, now I’m not sure if my previous comment went through or not. Just checking.
Maybe your spam filter caught it since I had two links included. One was for a simple inside latch that is very inexpensive and works great. I’ll try again.

You need BIGGER bells, Jean!
I got here to your new site Jean and I ran all the way puff pant wheeze thud.
LOVE the site, and now it’s your own property you can do more with it. Have you had a house( website )warming party? I’ll bring the Jello.
Under the category of “if it’s not one thing, it’s another”!
This is a lovely new look. I will follow you wherever you go.
Oh, Jean I know your heart stopped when you saw him outside and had not heard the bell. You will come up with something, you are way too creative to not find a solution to this problem. Love the new site…Blessings and hugs…
I think hiding his shoes is brilliant. Hugs to you.
Hope he doesn’t go out in his slippers! Good thing you caught him in time. You’re always on your toes, aren’t you?
Hugs
Thanks – glad you all like the new site. Forgive, no links yet. I started, deleted, floundered a round a bit and went to bed!
