So, I am really enjoying my “WordPress For Dummies” book. Uh, how appropriate.
As you can see, my blog link is slowly being added to but not without a lot of frustration. Some URL’s I type will not show up but a few are “working”. Heaven knows how cause I sure don’t:)
Spent a few hours with a dear friend yesterday – happened to mention that Wayne sees people, many people in our house, especially in the living room. We chatted about it and she suggested maybe they were angels he is seeing.
It was so sweet, she said if anyone would have angels looking after him, it would be Wayne.
So, now I am comforted instead of being creeped out when he “sees” all these people in our house. If he is just hallucinating, fine, no harm done. If angels are in our presence, bless them.
I had a talk with our GP this week and he said as long as he doesn’t react violently or negatively with “the people”, he doesn’t think it’s dangerous – I guess he meant for me.
Thanks, L, for the angel suggestion.
I wait in ambush for him to come down the hall. “Here’s a nice warm facecloth for you, I’ll trade you for your eyeglasses.”
While he pats and dabs his face, I clean his glasses. Time to soak his hands in the sink. It’s perplexing for him so I soap up the facecloth and help.
“Here’s your shaver.”
“Thanks.”
Today is the first time he turned it on and made the same shaving motions on his head as he uses on his face. To say the least, I was surprised. The noise was loud as the poor razor was caught in his curls, he’d yank it out and do another area, all the while watching himself in the mirror.
After a few moments, I held out my hand for the razor. No shave today.
So, started adding my blogroll and only Angie’s will display properly – aren’t you special:) Anyway, will keep plugging away, threatening WordPress that Blogger is only a click away!
Wednesday Update: Just a note of apology. Tonight, I finally got thru all the blogs. I’m so sorry, haven’t had a lot of time. Lots of appt. and a bit of fun visits with family and friends.
Anyway, the next thing is to get my blogroll entered. Good grief, I just figured out Blogger and now I’m fighting with WordPress. Yes, I have heard of leave “well enough alone” but I just had to try it:) Thanks for your understanding.
He chipped an upper molar which was all filling – one more crunch and the tooth would fracture badly. So, today at 2pm he had a crown prep appointment. Never tell him ahead, one upset is enough:)
It’s rather how kids used to be years ago, petulant, sulky and “I don’t want to go in” mode.
Today was the worst ever. He reluctantly sat in the dental chair but left his right leg dangling, ready to bolt or just being naughty.
When Dr. Wonderful (my employer of 26 years) came in the op, he at least shook hands with him.
Once we had the anaesthetic going, no problem. Gentle little lamb. I escaped to the comfy chairs of the reception area to read, think and work on my lists.
Fifty minutes later he is out, big smile. Typical – but no reward for you today!
