Yesterday I asked him if it made a difference gas-wise to buy a standard or automatic car.

Could have kicked myself right there – I knew he was fumbling around for an answer. He came up with several scenarios such a test driving each and seeing how much gas was used.

As the (painful) conversation went on, he actually didn’t make any sense. Finally, I was able to thank him and change the subject.

Surprisingly, until yesterday, I could ask him about “things” and he always explained well. One time he told me how guns work – we had seen some news story re: different guns.

Right now we have quite the wind storm and he said he wouldn’t want to be flying tonight – usually he doesn’t remember his flying days.

plant_new_istock200x230tominhand1 We visited a large bedding plant centre – he loved walking along with me, helping  load plants and pull the cart.

Only one little glitch there – he was about to set plants on the cart when a 30′ish lady walked up. He looked at her and asked if they were hers. ***Cold stare***

If I had the chance, I would have explained we are dealing with AD – but he stayed right at my arm.

Commenters  mentioned they maybe look at people/situations in a different light after reading our blog – if so, it’s been worth it.

As usual, thanks for all your support.
