When I received a statement from our provincial health care system, I thought they hadn’t credited our account from February respite.

It was quite humorous  to see that each day of  “adult day care” has a charge. He’d be really smoked to know he’s being charged to go to a place he “hates” (once he is there, he’s Ok).

Anyway, doesn’t take much to amuse me I guess.

I haven’t listed the house yet – he enjoys it and I’ll stay til he’s admitted.

It’s a big job to plan a “move by one” but  for two because I will furnish his new home with familiar and favorite pieces.

Slowly over the past year, I have been listing and sorting the house. My biggest job has been to make a list and let family members choose items he owned and treasured. This has been done and assigned.

Big garage sale happening in August where all the extras will be sold. Have you ever considered how much luggage one collects, “all necessary” but never used – only a couple favs:)

This is why I had men in to do last minute touch ups. Once I move and the place is empty, they will return to go thru the place again – then a cleaning service to wrap it up.

It’s weird to look at my garden and see 4 tomato plants, 2 spaghetti squash, 2 Hubbard, 2 zucchini. The beans should be popping out soon – I mixed Clarkia flower seeds with the beans so the neighbors may nod silently among themselves:) Crazy lady is at it again.

Anyway, my blog will go private when I list the house. It will be an emotional time of change. I’ll let you know the password via email. Due to the nature of AD, I won’t know exactly when the move will happen but I think we’re nearing the end of time in this house.
