His razor croaked. No big deal for a guy – unless he is dealing with AD.
Family members visited recently and searched our city to find a razor the same style as the one he had (for 20 years!).
Good luck, found it but sold out. Yesterday, we returned to the store and bought a shiny, new razor. Aack! Immediately he started shaving his hair again. “No, Wayne, here.” I pointed to his chin. So far so good – then the hair again! I am taking his old razor to my “friend” at a Battery Stop and see if it still works – if it does, it will be a back up:)
Was W ever in the military? The hair?
Sometimes E-Bay has older models.
Sounds like a lot of things you take for granted have to be thought out differently these days. Must be tough.
Jean, I love your ingenuity! And you are so right– having back-ups of certain loved objects is SO important! We recently went through a saga involving watering cans, of all things.
:)
Praying for you and W.
Love, Laura
I can see how that would be a problem. Mr. kenju likes his old office telephone, which is old and staticky and needs replacing. He won’t let me replace it because I can’t find one exactly like it. He can use this one without a thought to which buttons to push, and new ones confuse him.
I don’t know what will happen when his razor conks out.
Talk about cognitive confusion–my first thought was who ever heard of a croaking razor…some kind of Canadian brand perhaps?
