We bought a fairly large order at Costco, walked to the car, unloaded to the trunk.

As we were taking the cart back to the corral, he asked, “Aren’t we buying anything today?”

It breaks my heart to see him stressed.  Who wouldn’t be with your mind  wandering off on its own free will and you have no control or understanding?

His jeans take the brunt of the stress. My dear neighbor is a seamstress and takes his jeans every so often to apply patches over the worn spots. If he goes to rub where there is a patch, he just goes to another spot. It takes about a month for him to “ruin” new jeans. I keep one jeans for “good” such as if he’s invited out with one of the guys. That way I get quite a few months out of them.

I glanced over at him a minute ago and he’s calm. Nice to see.

Discussed meds with our sons recently and we wonder where to draw the line. Our specialist said maybe he will discuss not prescibing Aricept after the next visit. Right now he feels it is helping him yet. Heaven knows how it will be if we agreed to stop it. Actually, I am really thinking that we should just keep it up. He has no side effects and it’s a real Godsend for clarity – and the jeans, dear Doc, the jeans. Laugh or cry – we try to laugh.
